The Google Science Fair is a global online science and technology competition open to individuals and teams from ages 13 to 18. This year’s winner is Kiara Nirghin from Johannesburg, South Africa! She is 16 and her idea focused on combating drought with a low-cost, biodegradable super absorbent polymer made out of orange peels! Congatulations Kiara!

The mission of the Pauchon Research foundation is to fund or reward worthy science, business and medical research projects that results in significant improve to mankind. The foundation has been in existence for 10 years and is endowed by the estate of the late Louis Pauchon, a long time resident resident of Morgan Hill, California.
